Witness Information
- Name: Gavin Sands
Date of Birth: 01/JAN/2000
Phone Number: 243-8488
Occupation: Deputy for the Los Santos Sheriff Department
Witness Statement
- Hello,
Leading up to the arrest of Mr. Walker myself and my partner were finishing a 911 call about a house robbery. This robbery was code 4 and there was a bunch of furniture that was left in a box waiting for someone to come and pick it up. As we were leaving we saw a brawler drive up the street that was 2x occupied. I wondered if they were showing up to finish picking up the loot from the house robbery so myself and my trainee drove behind a tree and observed from between the leaves. When watching we noticed the car stopped and then made a weird u-turn like it was positioning itself in a particular way on the side of the road. This made us concerned and after waiting another minute we drove back down the road to find the car was now 1x occupied and there was a white sports car with a man inside currently trying to hotwire it. We focused on the man hotwiring the car and then the brawler backed down the road in a manner which made us think he was trying to pick up his friend. He soon however drove off and another unit found the same car seconds latter. After finding the car and getting it pulled over the lead unit decided to perform a 10-66 and he was the man dropping off his friend to steal cars. After performing the 10-66 a gun was found on the man and shortly after Samuel Armstrong took the arrest of Mr.Walker. After stating he was going to take the arrest i told him to press any possession charges along with accessory to attempted grand theft auto. However it seems that he messed up the modifier as stated on the arrest report and forgot to add Attempted.
Witness Affirmation
- I, Gavin Sands, affirm that the above statement is true to the best of my knowledge and belief. I affirm that this statement has been made voluntarily, made without promise of reward, and made not under threat, force, or coercion. ((I affirm that all information submitted has been obtained via In-Character means.))

Witness Information
- Name: [Firstname Lastname]
Date of Birth: [30/05/1995]
Phone Number: [552-2854]
Occupation: [Deputy Sheriff lll]
Witness Statement
- On the night of May 30th, Deputy Sands had spotted an individual attempting to steal a parked vehicle, the Deputy made their presence known and the said individual jumped into their friends vehicle speeding away as they saw Deputy Sands presence. Very shortly after the Deputy lost visual of that vehicle, 1 - 2 minutes had passed and that vehicle came racing towards me in the City where we initiated a 10-66 as the plate matched that of the vehicle that left the scene.
We got the driver out of the vehicle and detained them, confirming it was the individual from the seen who aided his friend they became uncompliant with us. Upon searching them we did find an illegal firearm and they were charged for it. Unforutnately they were mistakenly charged with Accesory to GTA, instead of accessory attempted GTA and due to the time and low amount of units no one was on duty able to remove the charges so they started their sentence with their placed charge.
