The Los Santos Police Department celebrates the graduation of Academy Class #255, welcoming six newly sworn members. This milestone marks the completion of their initial recruitment phase, followed by rigorous training at the Los Santos Police Academy.
The next significant challenge they face is the Department's Field Training Program. Under this program, all Police Cadets undergo extensive training under the guidance of senior officers. Subsequently, they undergo evaluation by a Police Supervisor, whose recommendation is reviewed by the Field Training Command. Only after successfully completing this probationary phase will they be considered for advancement to becoming a full time Police Officer, within the Department.
Academy 255 marks the inaugural session under the restructured Basic Training Division, responsible for overseeing all Academies within the Los Santos Police Department.
We would like to extend our congratulations to Police Sergeant Joseph Sanchez on his recent appointment as Commanding Officer of Basic Training. With his extensive background in Recruitment, particularly in academy instruction, Sergeant Sanchez's promotion signifies a significant advancement for both him and the Police Training Bureau.
