Los Santos: After every month, our supervisory and command teams review the Officers working below them and nominate those who have shown significant dedication to the department through their hours on shift, their high individual performances within their respective divisions and also and most importantly, their embodiment of the values that we hold dear, here in the Los Santos Police Department.

It is with that in mind, that we would like to congratulate Police Officer II Murphy Azalea on becoming the latest recipient of the Officer of the Month award for February 2024.

Officer Murphy Azalea was put forward by the Commanding Officer of the Mission Row Patrol Division, Police Captain Josh Durry with the following statement:
Police Captain Josh Durry wrote:Officer Murphy has made a real development in his career during his last month with the department. He is quickly becoming a recognized officer within the department due to his friendly and reassuring attitude. He has logged a total of 212 hours this month, having submitted over 100 pieces of paperwork to back the hours.
Officer Azalea successfully graduated from the academy on December 17th, 2023. Since joining the department, he has consistently demonstrated high-quality work and an incredible attitude. He is a very hard working yet approachable officer, always adding a friendly and high demeanour to everyone he is on shift with.

Officer Azalea recently achieved the current rank of Police Officer II on February 12th, 2024, and continues to excel in his position within the Mission Row Patrol Division. He holds many positions within many divisions, as a K-9 handler, a Traffic Officer, and an Interviewer plus Application Handler. In the past month, Officer Azalea has kept everyone's spirits high, and we hold high hopes for continued success.

We'd also like to give honorable mentions to Laurant Conrad, Remus McLaughlin, Lance Sage, and Marcus Kayne.

Congratulations Officer Azalea, we look forward to your bright future in the Department.
