- 3.1) Why are you seeking employment with the San Andreas Judicial Branch? (200 word minimum)
- For as long as I can remember, I have been passionate about justice. Justice in all of its forms from not letting my classmates be bullied in elementary school, to ensuring the fair election of President of my High School chess club. It's been something that has been instilled in me ever since my father was wrongfully arrested for a crime he didn't commit, for which he spent the majority of my childhood behind bars. While he was eventually released, the damage was done, and we were both robbed of memories we simply could never recover. It has been my personal goal to ensure that once I was able to, I would never allow this to happen to any family again. Justice can not be served while innocent are locked behind bars, and I intend to join the Judicial Branch in order to help see to it that justice is served honestly, fairly, and fully.
Should I acquire this job, it is my full intent to work my way up to a position where I can help every citizen of Los Santos and surrounding counties have access to qualified and competent defense and to ensure that no one, big or small, shall ever be taken advantage of while I can help to prevent it. It would be the greatest honor to right the wrongs that my family, and countless other families have experienced.
- Growing up in Blaine County with my parents, I was raised to believe in the central tenets of our community. Respect, Honour, and Loyalty. So when my father was wrongfully convicted, it presented my biggest challenge to date: coming to terms with the fact that respect and honour are not always a given, and must at times be fought for. Ever since that fateful day, I have at every turn soaked up knowledge, information, and experience that would better prepare me for a future career in the judicial branch. I would stay late every week in school to study the laws, I would reach out to local community members in order to inquire about their experiences. Both personal and anecdotal. I've armed myself with every single piece of information I can get my hands on and it is now my intent to utilize this information for the greater good of our city, community, and country.
- Passionate.
If there is one thing that I am above all else, it is passionate. It has been both one of my strongest assets, and at times my biggest weaknesses. Once I have embarked on a project or goal, I will relentlessly pursue that goal until it has been completed to the expectations that were set and well beyond. In the case of law, for example, I would spend hours with my nose in a book absorbing and learning every last drop of information at my disposal in order to fully, completely, and unequivocally understand every last subject that may be necessary to me.
- I heard about this position while walking around the city, it became apparent the JB was in hiring mode as they are hosting walk-in interviews on February the 3rd. I intend to partake in these, but wanted to get an official application in the works as well to create a paper trail of my intent, as well as (hopefully) future employment.
