Police Department's Firearms Licensing Division will be receiving the prestigious Public Service Award. This award is given to officers who have performed outstanding public service, and Officer Hill is certainly deserving of this recognition.

Since joining the Firearms Licensing Division, Officer Hill has shown exceptional dedication and commitment to his role. He has processed a tremendous amount of paperwork while taking the time to highlight attention to detail and efficient work ethic. Officer Hill has gone above and beyond through his various changes and suggestions to improve the Division and the general public. The contributions of the Firearms Licensing Division often go unnoticed, but Officer Hill has played a crucial role in providing a valuable service to the community. By granting hundreds of individuals the means to protect themselves from potential harm, Officer Hill has significantly impacted public safety.
Police Lieutenant I Mike Luigi wrote:Since joining the Firearms Licensing Division, Police Officer III+1 George Hill has demonstrated continuous dedication, submitting nearly 900 pieces of divisional paperwork. Not only that, Police Officer III+1 George Hill continues to go above and beyond his role by being responsible for multiple divisional changes that have been implemented throughout his tenure, always looking for ways to improve.
Officer Hill's exceptional performance within the Firearms Licensing Division began in May of 2023, and he has proven himself an invaluable asset throughout his time in this role. His ability to handle a large quantity of firearm-related administration with diligence and precision is truly commendable. Officer Hill eagerly takes on challenges, demonstrating his dedication to the department and its impact on the citizens of Los Santos. He serves as a role model for aspiring police officers, showcasing the importance of firearm regulation and public safety it ensures.
Deputy Chief Dezzy Bala wrote:Officer Hill joined us shortly before his promotion to Police Officer III. Since that time, Officer Hill has been a standout performer within the Division. Not just in terms of the sheer amount of quantity of firearm-related administration he has undertaken, but also the diligent, eagle-eyed manner in which he has processed this paperwork.

Officer Hill typifies the team's work ethic in the Firearm Licensing Division. He takes his work seriously, owing to the important role that a Firearms Licensing Officer plays in public safety. He is ready and willing to take on challenges, head on. He is also a team player and a fine example to any up and coming Police Officer, looking to serve the department and the state through firearm regulation. This award is very well deserved and I'm incredibly proud he is a part of my Office.
