Hello, my name is Keil Taylor. I am deaf and originally from Vice City, where wealthy people reside. I moved here about three years ago. Initially, I worked at an oil company for a while before deciding to switch to roadwork, where I made a lot of new friends along the roadside. Through this experience, I've learned a great deal about this city. Seeking a more serious job in the government sector, I was hired at Bayview as a mechanic and have been working there for about a month. Additionally, I obtained a part-time position as a driver at DCC. I'm excited about the prospect of staying here in Los Santos as my permanent home!

2.2 Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 75 words)
As a junior mechanic, I became curious about working in the Department of Corrections (DOC) because I aspire to learn and serve as a guard. I aim to assist other guards to provide the best support wherever it's needed. I see working with DOC as a second job opportunity that allows me to learn from experienced guards and understand their journey within DOC. I recognize that being a DOC guard is one of the toughest job positions, but I am ready to step up and embrace the challenges, eager to learn and grow in this role. I am currently working on getting my gun license next month.

2.3 What have you learned and changed about yourself since being charged with a felony/misdemeanor (Minimum 50 words)?
After being charged with assault with a deadly weapon, a felony, back in August 2023, it hit me hard, and I learned a lot from the experience. I had intended to apply for a firearm license, but I chose the wrong time, leading to the loss of that opportunity. I have never owned or even touched a gun in my lifetime. Since facing that charge, I have become much more cautious about my behavior and made significant changes within myself. I'm also more mindful of the people I surround myself with now.
