Los Santos: In recent weeks, feedback has been provided and acknowledged by the Department regarding the naming of the event permit requests section and information document. We recognize that the naming of this section may have caused confusion and has led event organizers to believe that a permit is required to be provided by the Los Santos Police Department for a public event to be hosted in Los Santos.
The naming of event permits has been adjusted to road closure permits, allowing the section itself to be more direct and clear to any potential event organizers. The purposes, requirements, and other information concerning road closure permits remain unchanged.
While this change is minor in nature, we hope that the change in section naming will provide more clarity to prospective event organizers with regard to the purposes served by the permits issued by the Department and an easier and more accessible process.
