Although I did not agree with lockdowns, I did enforce them as a policy, depending on the situation. Since my last reinstatement request, I have taken the time to reflect on my somewhat negative attitude and how it could bring down the morale of my co-workers. I do realize now that it was not very supervisory-like. However, I did do my job to the best of my abilities. I never gave inmates "special" treatment; I treated everyone the same. I feel, despite my negative attitude at times, that it was not all bad and that I was a contributing member of the Department of Corrections.
