Los Santos: The Los Santos Police Department is proud to announce a significant development in the commitment of the Department to transparency and accountability through the establishment of the Civilian Review Board, a pivotal measure in enhancing the trust in the Department through the introduction of oversight.
Currently existing of Assistant to the Governor Andrea Fallon and Chief of Staff Emily Whitehorse, both prominent individuals with exemplary careers with the San Andreas State Government, the Civilian Review Board exists outside of the standard structure and chain of command of the Los Santos Police Department, and instead reports directly to the Office of the Chief of Police.
The Civilian Review Board has been provided with autonomy to conduct independent reviews of the investigative processes of the Los Santos Police Department with respect to officer misconduct and to make recommendations or raise concerns and discrepancies to the Office of the Chief of Police.

The Los Santos Police Department remains committed to providing excellent service, improving policing practices, and building stronger relationships with the communities. It is the belief that the Civilian Review Board will play a pivotal role in achieving these objectives.

Chief of Police Elena Blake wrote: Following the press release published by the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department, discussions with Assistant Chief Phillipe Sanchez began surrounding the introduction of civilian oversight to the Internal Affairs Division. Fortunately, a shared vision of accountability and transparency allowed for an efficient discussion and conclusion.
Correspondence was initiated with Assistant to the Governor Andrea Fallon and Chief of Staff Emily Whitehorse to gauge their interest and availability for assuming such a position, after which they graciously informed us that they were willing to assist.
Ms. Fallon and Mrs. Whitehorse are hard-working individuals with exemplary records through their esteemed careers with the San Andreas State Government and who, in their own right, have made strides to better the State of San Andreas.
We have high hopes for what this may bring.
