  • Citizens of San Andreas,

The Public Notary is proud to present to the public of the State of San Andreas our new Officiant Licensing Desk. Gone are the days of needing a pilots license to marry your friends or start your new drive through wedding business, now you may apply to the Public Notary section of the Judicial Branch to get your very own officiant license.

All you need to get your officiant license is a valid drivers license in the State of San Andreas. Once you have applied and attend one of our classes, you may marry individuals to your hearts content. During our class, you will get a comprehensive look at what it means to be an officiant. After the class, we will send you an email with instructions on how to work the Government Website. The class will take anywhere from thirty minutes to an hour.

Here are a few questions we assume the public will have in regards to these new licenses.
    • Will the Public Notary still recognize boat captains and pilots?
      • With the addition of officiant classes and license, the Public Notary will no longer recognize boat captains and pilots as licensed officiants. We understand the historical significance behind those positions being allowed to marry individuals, but the State of San Andreas lacks the official licensing to check boat registrations. This system will make everything easier to understand for the public as well as the Judicial Branch.
    • Will the Public Notary allow churches to register their own officiants?
      • At the moment, the Public Notary will recognize certain churches known to the state, such as the Church of Flarg, but we are working on an official process.
    • Does it matter if I have a criminal record?
      • No, the only things you need are a valid drivers license and $10,000 cash.
    • How long is the class?
      • The class will take thirty minutes to an hour.
    • Can I wire transfer the money?
      • No, you must pay in cash on the day of the class.
We hope to see you at our officiant classes soon! If you have any questions at all head down to city hall and ask one of our dedicated Public Notary staff or contact us in the public inquires section of the Judicial Branch. Thank you!
