As the defendant in both of the cases mentioned by the Deputy AG, they are two different cases pertaining to two different situations. Hopefully this clears up any confusion.

Official Witness Statement

Case Information
- Incident Date: [08/SEP/2023]
Witness Information
- Name: [Rija Luigi]
Date of Birth: [27/OCT/1995]
Phone Number: [REDACTED]
Occupation: [Police Sergeant for the Los Santos Police Department]
Witness Statement
- [During my patrol with Detective Lafleur, we were approached by a vehicle that drove towards us and shouted that they had just been shot at, it was visible due to him having multiple bullets in the car and the car was smoking heavily. According to the victim, the person who shot at him was driving a white vehicle but then abandoned it and fled on foot. This happened near the intersection of Elgin Ave and the Los Santos Freeway.
GPS LOCATION INCLUDED IN EXHIBIT #4
Armed with this information, we began searching for the individual who was armed and considered dangerous. We searched areas such as Vinewood Bowl, Fenwell Place, and other nearby locations for any cars or suspects matching the given description. Unfortunately, our search was without success. We only came across an abandoned vehicle that had been reported stolen after scanning it in the MDC. To gather more evidence, I instructed Detective Lafleur to collect fingerprints from the steering wheel and door of the vehicle. The fingerprints matched those of Martin James. Since the vehicle was reported stolen and we had no prior knowledge of its theft location, he was charged with Grand Theft Auto. I then filled out a warrant report for his arrest.]
Witness Affirmation
- I, [Rija Luigi], affirm that the above statement is true to the best of my knowledge and belief. I affirm that this statement has been made voluntarily, made without promise of reward, and made not under threat, force, or coercion. ((I affirm that all information submitted has been obtained via In-Character means.))
Signed,
[Rija Luigi]

Upon wanting to do further investigations, prints were taken from the car. The prints found came back to Martin James. ((Admin did /lastdriver)). Due to the prints linking Martin James as being within this stolen vehicle, charges were placed on his person. ]
