I, Mike Baxton, have been born and raised in the United States surrounded by loving and caring family members and friends that have taken strong roles in helping me become the man that I am today. I have been known to be strong when it comes to my educational background, attending Harvard University and taking up the Humanities/humanistic studies major. My mother worked as a lawyer and father being a state police officer with our family being based in Massachusetts. I have always been interested in following such footsteps my parents created therefore desiring the position as Correctional Officer in San Andreas as I believe it would suit me well and make them proud. I also want to mention that helping and rehabilitating other citizens/inmates has been a long time desire for me and I believe that I would be able to turn many lives around for the better.

2.2 Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 75 words)
I desire to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections because as stated before, it has been a long time coming regarding the full time position of being able to rehabilitate and help inmates that are struggling at certain times, in which I desire. To elaborate further as to why you should hire me over other applicants, I take safety to the most extreme and do not allow anything to slip by any boundaries that come with the job. I have been training with firearms for most of my life, supervised by my father, and much knowledge has been passed down to me, regarding safety, which has been gained from my fathers position as State Police Officer in Massachusetts.
