MOTION FOR DISCOVERY
IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF SAN ANDREAS
State of San Andreas v. Willie Roy
#23-CM-0099
A Motion for Discovery was filed in the above case on the 19th of October, 2023.
The State of San Andreas by and through the undersigned attorney, filed this Motion for Discovery, and presents the following as evidence;
San Andreas Judicial Branch
Official Witness Statement
"HERE FOR YOU | SAFE FOR YOU"
Case Information
- Incident Date: [01/AUG/2023]
Witness Information
- Name: [Sean Payne]
Date of Birth: [25/AUG/1999]
Phone Number: [4178469]
Occupation: [Police Officer]
Witness Statement
- On the 2nd of August, an investigation was conducted regarding a situation which involved an individual being scammed at Paleto Bank. For the sake of the investigation's confedentality, we will only be releasing information regarding the direct involvement of Mr. Willie Roy.
Mr. Roy's involvement in this orchestrated scam was by playing the role of the ''middle man'', according to our evidence as well as witness statements. It is important to higlight the fact that Mr. Roy, at the time was an employee with Bayview Autorepairs Center, and it is also critical to highlight the fact that hours after the alleged ''scam'' was done, Mr. Roy was fired from his position.
Mr. Roy had used his position at Bayview to manipulate the victim into trusting him since he has an official badge and that he can be held accountable if anything happened. Little did our victim know, that was all a part of the plan. When it came to the point that Mr. Roy had to hand over the paperwork, he made an attempt to run off but he crashed into the Hellfire that was being traded for the said shinobi. This put Mr. Roy in an awkward situation and thus he was stalling on handing over the paperwork. Him stalling bought his friend Kenny Thomas (main man behind this scam) to pull out a gun and kidnap the victim.
Attached below is footage showcasing everything said to unfold.
PRESENTED IN EXHIBIT #3
Me and my partner that was working on the case with me, Marcus Kayne. Decided to drive up to Bayview to interview the colleagues of Mr. Roy and ask a couple of questions regarding his employment within the Bayview Autorepair Center. In which we were surprised to find out that he has been dishonourably discharged from the company for unrelated reasons. Essentially, My partner and I were trying to paint a picture of our secondary suspect in the case. And, according to his colleagues, Mr. Roy was quite the character at his workplace, violating many Bayview employee-related policies, as well as ignoring the chain of command on multiple occasions. Certainly not a behaviour from an employee that's attempting to be a long-term one.
As my partner and I were leaving, we spotted a note attached to a pillar
Attached Below is the note.
PRESENTED IN EXHIBIT #4
After running the phone number into the MDC, we discovered that it came back to Willie Roy. Conveniently enough, the vehicle was being listed for 299K and was sold for 315K at high-end later that day (299K excl. taxes). Furthermore, the same day that this scam happened Willie Roy was arrested when he was in the same car with Kenny Thomas. Willie Roy for arrested the following charges.
PRESENTED IN EXHIBIT #5
VM03 - Reckless Operation of a Road or Marine Vehicle
WM02 - Possession of a Class 1 Firearm
All of this is further solidifying that these two individuals do have a relationship together and thus Mr. Roy was the one who was assisting the original suspect, Kenny Thomas with the scam.
On the 4th of August at around 9:34 PM, Willie Roy was arrested by the LSSD whilst driving the shinobi which was promised to the victim in this scam, the shinobi was registered to Kenny Thomas.
Attached below is the arrest report from the LSSD.
PRESENTED IN EXHIBIT #6
These 2 arrests can show us that these 2 individuals have some sort of relationship together and this is not the first time that these 2 have helped each other commit crimes knowingly on multiple different occasions.
Witness Affirmation
- I, Sean Payne, affirm that the above statement is true to the best of my knowledge and belief. I affirm that this statement has been made voluntarily, made without promise of reward, and made not under threat, force, or coercion. ((I affirm that all information submitted has been obtained via In-Character means.))
Signed,

Sean Payne
