  • Hello, I was just wondering about the LSPD's Policies on Officers especially non-uniformed officers while on shift giving out their own names or showing their official badges while asked to do so by a member of the public, to ensure said citizen feels as though they are able to trust that the officer and believe they are not an impersonator saying a random number as a "Badge Number" since a member of public can't tell in the moment.
