2.1 Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
I was born in Los Jose, CA on September 12th, 1980. I was born into an upper-middle class family with my dad being a police officer and my mother working as an EMT. Tragically, my father was killed while on duty due to gang violence. My mother was devastated by this but remarried when I turned 19 (I had just moved out). So, I moved to an apartment on the outskirts of the city and started my life. I got a couple of different jobs, but my main job was when I turned 23 and got a job at a brewery a few minutes away from my apartment and worked there for a few years. A few years ago, I decided to move to Los Santos to start a new life. I got a couple of freelance jobs around the city and made some money. I then moved up to government jobs such as DCC and LSC. After being in the city for a while, I started working my way up to being an attorney and a medic. I am looking to add to my… extensive list of careers with DOC and be able to get more experience and a deeper understanding of what goes on in the city.

2.2 How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating towards the department in the event you are hired?
As much as they require from me. This is not a full-time job, but that does not mean I will not put hours in.

2.3 Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 75 words)
One reason I am looking to join the Department of Corrections is I am looking for a change of pace in my career. I am very passionate about law, and being an attorney does not seem to be working out. DOC will give me an opportunity to experience how San Andreas law works in a first-hand environment. Also, working as a CCO in DOC can get me away from the work environment of EMS, which is constantly stressful. Though DOC is equally, if not more stressful, it is a change of pace which will make it more enjoyable. I possess many traits that I feel makes me a more preferable candidate over another person. I am extremely good under pressure and can easily handle high-stress situations. I am friendly, but can remain professional when needed. And finally, though a smaller skill than the others I've stated above, I am quite good with paperwork, which is a good sized part of this job.

2.4 How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
I assess the situation and what is going on, then prioritize what needs to be done first, and what will result in success. LSEMS has helped me drastically in dealing with stressful situations.

2.5 What qualifications or traits do you possess that may be an asset to us (Minimum 50 words)?
As stated in question 2.3, I work extremely well under pressure which is something that I have picked up from other jobs and experiences. I am very reliable, which is a large part of this job as we are working in a facility containing prisoners, weapons, confidential information, etcetera. Finally, I am great at getting any sort of task done. I can efficiently focus on one task to complete it in a timely fashion, but I also have the ability to multitask, should I have to.
