I, Julio Mahomes, grew up in a strict, disciplinary military family. I am a proud Puerto Rican African American and have enjoyed travelling to visit family and also because of my father's career as a general in the United States military. Meeting a lot of people and visiting a lot of places around the world was nice, but I never felt like I had a place I could call home. Instead of going to the military, I wanted to go to college instead and study criminal justice and use my military upbringing to secure a job in a government facility. I have always admired law & order which is why I decided to pursue a career in the Miami Police Department. I intend to be an asset to this team with my knowledge of the law and passion for justice.

I want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections because I feel as though my military upbringing and high level of respect toward my peers will go a long way in the department. I aspire to climb the ranks within this environment and one day teach the next generation with my knowledge of the law. As mentioned previously, I have a passion for law and justice and look to show this through my actions in the Department of Corrections. I have a range of skills that will be useful within the department, such as organization, communication, negotiation, and peacekeeping which will hopefully make me an asset to the team.

2.4 How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
I handle pressure or stressful situations by prioritizing what is most urgent that needs to be done first in order to ultimately solve the issue at hand. I use this strategy because trying to solve multiple things at once will only delay the process of coming to a solution. I look forward to leading by example and showing others how to handle or stressful situations as well if needed. In terms of stressful situations, as a Police Officer, I have often had to deal with situations involving stress and pressure where I would utilize my skills to de-escalate and remain calm in order to bring a situation to resolution where everyone was as safe and as calm as possible.

I believe that my first-class communication skills and de-escalation tactics are strong traits that I can bring to this team that will create and add to a stable and healthy environment. Also, my professionalism and high level of respect are traits that will help me alongside being a fast learner in order to be able to help this department and hit the ground running.

Yes, I was banned for about 2 years but was unbanned because I was genuinely sorry for my actions and have taken that time to re-read the rules and it has made me enjoy the server a lot more than in the past. The previous punishment I was banned for was disrupting server operations and not being here to RP.
