- Its safe to say that I find myself drawn to the San Andreas Judicial Branch for several reasons. First of all I was born and raised in the dynamic world of Dutch law, with both my parents working together in the successful law firm Bakker Advocaten ("Bakker Lawyers"). My interest in the San Andreas Judicial Branch is not a temporarily thing, but a carefully considered start of a career. My planned legal education at San Andreas University, although unfortunately cut short, was the start of a connection to this city, its culture, and most importantly, an interest in its system of justice.
As with every city, there is a delicate balancing act between the exact letter of the law and its meaning. I believe that my upbringing and struggles faced here and abroad, can bring fresh perspectives and creative solutions to the job. I see this opportunity as a beginning of a long and successful career, although I am fully aware that this will only be the start.
To summarize, I am not simply looking for a job with the San Andreas Judicial Branch. Instead I am looking for the start of a career where I can use my skills to affect change, uphold justice, and contribute to the city to make it thrive alongside me. And I really, really do not want to work any longer at Burger Shot.
- My name is Hugo “The Dutchman” Bakker, and I was born in the city of Nijmegen (the Netherlands). I am the son of the former owners of Bakker Advocaten, the locally famous law firm that was being ran by my parents. Only very recently I traveled to the city of Los Santos, where I was supposed to complete a law study at the San Andreas University.
Unfortunately life had other plans for me, so due to tragic circumstances I had to quit the study while only being in its introduction week and struggle through life just days later. Having only just recently obtained the United States citizenship, I do have a basic understanding of the local legal systems, and am determined to follow the footsteps of my parents. I might be young, but am willing to work my way up in a career that nearly ended in a fast food restaurant. I will do everything that is needed to succeed, in the memory of my beloved parents.
- Grey: while growing up with both my parents working in law, I have always been aware that there is not just a strict border to the law. Instead there is a "grey" area surrounding every article, where the tiny details of a situation can determine if actions were or were not within these limits of the law. And although those limits should never be broken, it is a great adventure to see where exactly those boundaries are. After all that leads to further clarification, and improvement of the system in general.
