Charging Department: LSPD
Date & Time of Incident(s): 05/JUN/2023 Early AM
Charge(s):
Regarding the charge of burglary, I had just arrived in town, and had spoken to my friend Jacob Schmidt about borrowing their car. I was at a local establishment, Te-Qui-La-La, and he advised me his car - a grey sports car - was just a few blocks away. I walked there, spotted a grey sports car, and attempted to enter the vehicle, setting off the car alarm in the process.
I guess someone called the police, because after I'd given up trying to get into the car, I had stood nearby on my phone with Jacob to discuss how to get into the car, and a squad car showed up.
I wasn't told why I was being detained, nor what reason he'd had to approach me in the first place. I denied attempting to break into the car, because I hadn't, which the officer took as providing false information. I was confused; I didn't know what he was looking for or what the rules here really are yet.
He arrested me (he was very cordial during the entire process; unfortunately I neglected to get his name), and unfortunately because of the severity of these charges, I was sent to prison.
I am a medical professional; there is a great deal of good I can do for the people of Los Santos, if just given this one opportunity.
I, Erin Faustin, hereby affirm that all information provided above is true and correct to the best of my knowledge, and understand that knowingly providing false information could result in additional charges and/or fines.
