- 3.1) Why are you seeking employment with the San Andreas Judicial Branch? (200 word minimum.):
- Family is my priority, but I made sure everything was okay at home. Now I have to make myself a priority. I have seen the implementation of the new declaration in Los Santos, and am fascinated by the results. I believe the law process of Los Santos to be exciting and full of promise. I would like to be apart of a program like that.
That is why I chose to apply to the San Andreas Judicial Branch. I would like to take all the knowledge I have acquired from my job as a paralegal and apply it to my possible future work here. I have read over the cases held by this court. It impresses me that you all can keep a level and unbiased head as you work through the rulings, but from what I have read, you all have done your best to upkeep and uphold the law to the best of your abilities.
Working at the Judicial Branch would give me an opportunity to love the place I work at. It would also give me the opportunity to enjoy the culture and people I work with. I already believe in what your office has done so far. Stepping into a job like this, would be nice as I, much like anyone, hopes to effect change in a company and place you can believe in.

- 3.2) Please provide a short biography about yourself that highlights why you should be selected from other candidates. (150 word minimum.):
- My name is Hope Kant. I am a 29 year old woman with a passion for law. Even from when I was younger, I was always debating my parents to try to get a later bed time or more snacks. In middle school I joined the debate team and was nominated into the position of peer mentor. While I was in school, I would help my fellow classmates if they were ever being bullied and did my best to keep the peace. I took my role very seriously even at a young age.
In high school I continued with my work on the debate team, as well as took a few intro to law classes on the side. I applied to be the secretary of my grade in high school and won. I've always been very into spreadsheets and note taking, so the job seemed to fit me perfectly.
When I got to college, I continued my same trend and went for my law degree. Starting with a Bachelors in Arts specializing in the English language, and then moving on to get my complete law degree. During my time as a law student, I worked at the Law Offices of Gerber and Shrewd, where I was able to apply my class knowledge to real life situations.

- 3.3) Describe yourself in one word and explain why that word describes you best. (75 word minimum.):
- Organized. I really like to make lists. Looking at the pros and cons of a situation can aid and help to determine the best path forwards. It also really works, when you need to stay on top of things, as well as keep my life in order. Things like spreadsheets can take something complicated and make it readable. I know it sounds like I'm just listing a lot of facts, but these are things that have come to dictate my life. If I did not work by these rules, then I would have had a very difficult time on school.

- 4.3) Are you a member of any factions? If so, which faction and character.
- Nope.
- 4.4) Have you ever had an admin punishment with this, or any character on Eclipse? If yes, please explain:
- My last punishment was on the 8th of August of 2022. In about a months time in the year 2022, I made several mistakes in my RP. I was very quick to act on things instead of taking the time to carefully RP the situation out. Since then, I have worked to be patient in RP situations and allow people the time they need to properly play their character. I've also worked to make sure that whatever move my character is making, works along with my character story.
2 years ago I was messing around with friends and not taking my RP seriously. This led to the NRP 1 and 2. I believe my RP since then has shown the thought and carefulness that goes into each of my characters. Finally my ban from over 2 years ago, I helped a friend on a quiz to get into ECRP. They were ban evading. I did not realize this at first, but I should've reported anything suspicious to admins. I've followed this same attitude into my current play and done my best to keep within ECRP's rules.
