San Andreas State Government

1. Introduction
  • The San Andreas State Government is happy to introduce the Government Grant system. We believe this will positively impact the small business owners within the city of Los Santos. Property and Housing Bureau Director Tiffany Brent has been working extremely hard to ensure this Grant system is introduced.
2. General Information
  • As part of the Property and Housing Bureau, the Government Grant Request system provides the ability for citizens to apply for funding to purchase or furnish new or existing business properties in the state of San Andreas. Businesses already funded by the San Andreas State Government are ineligible and need not apply. Funds will be allocated and granted on a case by case basis, furthermore, some grants may be issued upon the stipulation of eventual repayment. To qualify for a grant, a detailed reason is required to be provided as to the intended use of the funds and how the requesting business will benefit the State of San Andreas and its citizens.
3. Requirements
  • Each request must be submitted by one person. They will be responsible for filling out the application and will be the person who will be issued the funding and responsible for any repayments required. Requests may not be filled out and applied for on behalf of someone else. For the application to be approved, the below requirements must be followed.
  • GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • It is the requestor's responsibility to keep all records of purchases made using grant funds, as proof of expenditure could be requested at any time by the San Andreas State Government.
  • If the business to which the grant was issued is sold or fails to meet the qualifying grant requirements within 6 (six) months of receiving grant funds, the grant must be repaid in full to the San Andreas State Government.
  • If, at any time, it is discovered that the requestor falsified information to receive or maintain funding, the afore mentioned party will be required to repay all funding received and will face criminal charges in accordance with the San Andreas State Penal Code.
  • If repayment is required for any reason, there will be options to pay the funds back on a monthly payment plan. However, if arrangements are not made within 3 (three) months, or if the repayment plan defaults by 3 (three) months, the requestor is subject to having the funds automatically withdrawn from their salary.

4. Objecting Grant Request
  • Every grant application is subject to review by the Board of Governors who have the authority to deny or stop any payments even if already approved by the branch Director.
5. Request Process
  1. Copy the Government Grant Request Form, found below, and submit an application to the Property and Housing Bureau.
    • The title of the thread should be [Government Grant Request] Firstname Lastname.
    • You are required to provide all information pertaining to the usage of any funds received.
    • It's important that you read over your request before you submit it, as any missing or wrong information may cause your grant request to be denied.
  2. Once the grant request has been submitted, it will be moved from the submit a request area to our private internal inbox and hidden from anyone being able to read it. A response will be provided to state the request has been successfully received.
    • This response will be kept in the Pending section for at least 24 hours, this will allow enough time for other people to view the request.
    • If there are any updates needed to the request, then you will be notified.
  3. The application will then be reviewed by the Property and Housing Bureau. During this step, Property and Housing Officials will carry out criminal record background checks and surveys on the business property will take place.
    • Please allow a couple of days for the application to be reviewed, as depending on the number of requests received, this could impact the time it takes to review.
  4. Once the application has been reviewed, you will be notified of its status. If your application is accepted, you will be notified and provided with an offer to accept or decline. If your application is denied, then you will be provided with a reason why.
    • If you fail to respond within 2 weeks, then the application is denied with the reason noted as a lack of response.
  5. If the offer is accepted by yourself, then a contract between you and the San Andreas State Government will be drafted, signed, then sent to you.
  6. Once you have signed and returned the legally binding contract, a member of the San Andreas State Government will reach out to you to issue the agreed upon funds.

Throughout the grant request period, the Property and Housing Bureau kindly asks that you refrain from inquiring about the status of the application. You will be notified at each stage.
6. Disclaimer
  • The Property and Housing Bureau, as part of the San Andreas State Government, reserves the right to conduct random inspections and/or record checks on all properties and individuals to ensure all requirements are maintained and no violations are being committed, during the application review process extending through the 6 (six) month period after funds have been issued or if any illegitimate activity is suspected.
