  • Dear @Cyrus Raven

I apologize for the delay. It is not currently in our SOP to require citizens to pay their citations prior to releasing their vehicle from impound.

Please let me know when you have read this response so I can archive it, unless you have any further questions.

    Sincerely,

    Belle Cavallera

  • Dear Detective Cavallera,

Firstly, thank you for the response.

Is this able to be communicated internally? It seems to be a common occurrence that I am requested to go to Mission Row and pay my tickets before being able to retrieve my vehicle. Last time this was requested by someone from Supervisory staff. After consulting with a few active members and from my own experience, the impression I get is that this is sort of an unwritten rule/procedure.

Please feel free to close this inquiry at your discretion.

    Respectfully,

    Cyrus Raven
