BMX RACE EVENT
-- -
The Community Relations Unit of the Media Relations Division organized and hosted yet another event for the city of Los Santos on the 26th of November this year. The event was held in downtown Los Santos with the race starting at the Los Santos Bank, and ending at the newly opened Los Santos Mall. Through the early signup, the event accommodated close to 30 individuals with interest growing highly before the very start of the event. Community Relations Officers proactively aim to find new and innovative ways to improve the bond between the Los Santos Police Department and the general public. Since being introduced, the Community Relations Unit has hosted a number of fun and engaging events which have drastically improved the relationships and perception of law enforcement by the general public.

- The event included a number of races through which contestants were able to race for their right to stay in the event and avoid being eliminated. With each race, half of the contestants would either be eliminated or make it to the finish line on time to be selected for the next race.
Before and after races the contestants had the option to refresh themselves with food and drinks provided by Refresh Catering at the start line outside the Los Santos Bank. A number of prizes were given away, including a Rapid GT Classic, and bundles of cash prizes for the final four contestants who had the chance to race against each other for the prestigious first-place prize. We would like to once again thank everyone for attending, and everyone assisting to host another phenomenal community event.
