I am a hard-working individual. Nothing in life has ever been given to me, so I understand more than most, that to get ahead in life, you must roll up your sleeves and get to work. I have worked in different freelance positions over the last year, spending most of this time as a trucker. I currently work for the Downtown Cab Company, as a driver. I love the company and the people that work there but feel unfulfilled as a driver and believe I need a more challenging and diverse job.
In my free time I enjoy taking my motorbike up the coast to Paleto bay and doing some fishing. I also like to hang out at the Teuqilala and play some poker. I am currently training in MMA with aspirations of competing in the Los Santos Ultimate Fighter. My hopes for the future are to settle down in a career, purchase a home and to build some new relationships.
As much time as i can fit in between sleep. I want to get on the property ladder, and to do so i must start working as much as possible.
I believe I am looking for more than a job, I need something that provides a lifestyle. I love the DCC but don’t find the job exciting enough. I feel a job with SADOC would solve both of these issues for me. I have driven many of your employees in the past, and all spoke highly of the job. I require a job that has more challenges and requires me to apply myself in different ways. It is for these reasons that I am applying for employment with you.
I believe I would be an asset to you due to my wide range of skills and certifications. I am a good driver and have worked as a taxi driver. This can be a dangerous job, and to survive you must know how to deal with aggressive and dangerous people. This is a skill that is highly applicable to your role, and one I am good at. I hold a trucker’s license and have worked in this role for a long time, meaning I would be capable of driving any heavy vehicles needed. I also have worked as a bouncer previously and have great crowd control skills. Furthermore, I am a licensed weapons holder and a skilled marksman. For these reasons, I believe I am a great candidate.
They say pressure creates diamonds, I say it creates stupidity. You should always take a second in a stressful situation and think about your next action. As your next action can always be your last.
I hold both a driving license and a trucker’s license. With significant hours spent behind the truck wheel. I also hold a personal licensed firearm and I am a competent marksman. I currently work as a DCC driver, which means I deal with the public. This job can be quite dangerous as some customers are threatening and aggressive. To do this job you must be calm and learn how to deal with such people. This is highly applicable to dealing with inmates. Beyond this i am a problem solver, with the ability to stay cool in heated situations.
Due to these skills and traits I think would be perfect for a corrections officer role.
I was unfortunately convicted of vandalism. This is my only charge. It was done out of an act of revenge that i am not proud of. I was brutally assaulted outside a bank by a man wielding a bat. I found him later that same day and smashed his car windows and panels. I was jailed for this offense and found that this act had done nothing but further harm me by making it harder to find meaningful employment. I have learned to not act emotionally to situations, that you need a cool head, and must approach things in the correct way because if you don’t you can harm yourself or others.
