Provide details of the incident leading up to the arrest
        • Deputy Johnson and I were conducting a speed trap near the northbound offramp of DOC where the suspect came flying past speeding. We attempted to pull him over but he had taken the offramp and then taken a left towards Sandy/DOC. The suspect carried on despite our lights and sirens being on, he decided to pull in behind the aeroplane scrapyard where he remained until we showed up. At this point, we had his plate and description. We thought we had lost him but he was still in the area (lights and sirens still on). We were facing him to which he sped past us once again, lights and sirens on, not stopping, he continued north of the area and headed up to the sand dunes area. We attempted to follow but we stalled after he took a massive jump. We had lost VC but TAC was already called with Alpha in the area. The description was explained and the individual was spotted by alpha. Units attempted to pull him over and he complied. I checked the body camera and confirmed he definitely close enough to see the lights and hear sirens, he decided to keep going.

From here we decided to conduct a 10-55 to which he did keep on complying, we matched his description entirely from our body camera and he was told he was getting charged with evading an officer. He was pat down and bike searched to which an illegal .50 Pistol with a silencer was found on the bike. He claimed it was "planted" and not his. We explained the entire situation to which he carried on saying it was planted and thus the charge for giving false information to a police officer was given to him. We transported him to DOC where he was processed by Deputy Johnson.

    Witness Statement
    • I was being trained by Zero Hunter, and while we were conducting a traffic stop, a motorcycle passed by at a high rate of speed. We pulled onto the road and turn on our lights and sirens, but the motorcycle continued to drive forward. I thought we lost visual of them after they pulled into some scrapyard, but when we pulled into the yard we found the motorcycle, which sped off shortly after gaining contact. We called a pursuit but stalled after losing control on some hills, but fortunately other units were able to establish contact, and the vehicle pulled over.
We detained the individual and searched their vehicle, which eventually led to us discovering a firearm with modifications. Questioning the individual, they made claims that the weapon was not theirs, and that they did not believe we were signaling them to pull over earlier. I don't recall any further items of note.
    Witness Affirmation
    • I, Quentin Johnson, affirm that the above statement is true to the best of my knowledge and belief. I affirm that this statement has been made voluntarily, made without promise of reward, and made not under threat, force, or coercion.
