- I am currently writing an article about police brutality, and I am seeking information from the IA Division. The least I require are statistics - the number of officers receiving complaints vs. the number of officers found guilty following the conclusion of the investigation. However, any additional information that can be provided on the matter is most welcome, such as disciplinary actions taken against those officers, or ways the department goes about enforcing the highest standards of protocol and procedure.
For the record, my article will contain a disclaimer appropriating all opinions and thoughts as my own. I would also like to state that my goal is to shine a positive light on Law Enforcement Agencies and dissipate rumors and mindset that police brutality is a nuisance in this state.
