Defendant Address: 519 Eclipse Tower

Requested Attorney: Peit Vanniekerk / Cyruus Raven

Charging Department: LSPD

Time & Date of Incident(s): 27/07/2022
Charge(s): Felony Evasion, Felony Public Endangerment
Narrative: I was pulled over close to Eclipse Towers for doing 132kph. I was compliant during the traffic stop and handed a citation and my 3rd Demerit. As it was my 3rd demerit my license was suspended and I was told that because the vehicle is parked legally at the side of the road I would have to leave the vehicle there and walk. I asked if I would be able to park my S2 at Eclipse Towers as it was just around the corner. And he could have escorted me if he wanted too. He told me I would not be able to do this, and that I would have to leave my S2 where it is. I did not want to leave my expensive vehicle roadside for someone to damage or steal it, so in poor judgement from myself I decided I was going to park it regardless. So I drove around the corner and parked my S2. After parking I got a friend to take me to Mission Row where I handed myself in without resistance, as all I wanted was to park my S2.

I, [Grace Raven], hereby affirm that all information provided above is true and correct to the best of my knowledge, and understand that knowingly providing false information could result in additional charges and/or fines. (( I affirm that all information submitted has been obtained via In-Character means. ))

  • Parties,

I am Associate Justice Judith Mason and I will be presiding over this case. At this point in time, I will be assigning this case to docket number #22-CM-0046 and will be ordering discovery immediately following this notice.

While it appears a plea agreement is being sought after by the prosecution, I will still require that a baseline of discovery be presented to ensure accepting any type of guilty plea is warranted in this case. Once submitted, we can move straight to a hearing to finalize the plea agreement.

    Respectfully,

      Witness Statement
      • I have very limited interaction with this case, I was the arresting officer due to the fact that Grace Raven willingly handed herself in to mission row. From what I have gathered from reading the witness testimony alone, is that Grace Raven has already admitted to willingly and openly disobeying a lawful request from Officer Luigi to not move her car. Hopefully Officer Luigi has beneficial evidence for this case.

Form 3.0.5 - Issuance of Verdict

San Andreas Judicial Branch
"HERE FOR YOU | SAFE FOR YOU"

ISSUANCE OF VERDICT - 22-CM-0046

IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF SAN ANDREAS

State of San Andreas v. Grace Raven
22-CM-0046

CHARGES BEING DISPUTED:
VM02 - Operating a Vehicle with a Suspended License
VF05 - Felony Public Endangerment
VF01 - Evading an Officer

A verdict was entered in the above case on the 26th day of August, 2022.

  • The case of #22-CM-0046, State of San Andreas v. Grace Raven has been resolved.

A plea agreement signed by all parties has been accepted by the court. As outlined in the full agreement, the prosecution agrees to no longer pursue the charge of VF05 - Felony Public Endangerment in exchange for a guilty plea of the two remaining charges of VM02 - Operating a Vehicle with a Suspended License and VF01 - Evading an Officer.

As such, the defendant will be compensated for time served and fines paid in relation to the Felony Public Endangerment charge.

It is with the above considerations that I issue the following verdict:
    • On the count of VM02 - Operating a Vehicle with a Suspended License, I find the defendant, Grace Raven, guilty.
    • On the count of VF01 - Evading an Officer, I find the defendant, Grace Raven, guilty.
