- On July 10th, 2022, Undersheriff Harry Payne initiated a pursuit of a member of the criminal street-racing group known as LSD. This member of LSD was a particularly terrible driver and Undersheriff Payne, being the phenomenal pursuit driver he is, was able to maintain visual contact with the suspect as the lead unit within the pursuit.
The driver of the vehicle eventually gravitated towards a wall as most members of LSD do and crashed. Undersheriff Payne called the pursuit a success and the suspect was sent to the Department of Corrections to serve his sentence.
Undersheriff Payne has been a massive proponent of catching these LSD street racers that often make their way up to the county. The Los Santos Sheriff's Department has a strict anti-street racing policy and will continue to crack down on these individuals who are endangering public safety. You can rest assured that through the Los Santos Sheriff's Department's expert driving and pursuit protocols, these street racers will be caught.
