Requested Attorney: N/A

Charging Department: LSPD

Time & Date of Incident(s): Approx 1pm on the 1st of July, 2022
Charge(s): Assult with a deadly weapon
Narrative: On the date stated, I finished my shift at the construction depot and arrived at my car. Upon unlokcing my car I was spoken to by a gentleman who said he was new in town, and asked how he could work an honest job like myself. I gave him a rundown on how to proceed with the application process and how to do the job, pointing him in the right direction. He thanked me and went to do his new job, when i returned to my car (which is my also my home as I am saving up) I saw a man inside my car stealing from my glovebox. I confronted the man and told him to leave, I got in my car and checked the glovebox and found he had stolen 6 items, 2 batteries, some soda, clothing and my GPS.

I confronted the masked assilent again and he pulled out a bottle and began to chase me, in my adreneline-filled state I smashed the soda bottle and defended myself, hitting the attacker twice. Then another masked man attacked me and I said 'This has nothing to do with you' and he said 'I'm his friend' and chased me also. A friend I made on the job came in aid of me and defended me, immobilising the second assailant who had a knife. I finally hit the first attacker again, immobilising him, and luckily escaping any damage to myself and my property.

I took my belongings minus the batteries, and stood by my car, the police arrived, I told them everything and complied totally, as they will attest. My work friend left on a bike against the officer's wishes, and I have been unfairly and unjustly charged with this crime.

I am not a criminal, my charges are unjust, and I want my right to a free and fair trial to return my good name, as well as compensation for my unjust inprisonment.

Thank you.

Adam Youd

      Witness Statement
      • I arrived on the scene at the roadworkers HQ after a call was made about an individual that has been stabbed, upon securing the scene I found the man that had been stabbed and another that had made the call, upon further investigation the man admitted that he had stabbed the person in self-defense, the individual was then placed in cuffs and all evidence was collected. Upon searching the stabbed individual it was found to have a weapon on him and all the belongings the defendant, in this case, had said the attacker stole from his vehicle.

The reason I didn't place a murder charge was I had no proof beyond reasonable doubt that the stabbing was in cold blood or had any foul play occurred. The man in question had stayed in the location of the incident and phoned the police and all evidence pointed to self-defense and the story all lined up with what he was saying.

Superior Court,

The state has already presented its discovery prematurely as a matter of cutting bureaucratic processes, and it seems as though an eager individual placed a testimony on the docket outside of normal channels. I have submitted a request to depose the defendant, and am awaiting a response from the defense. The state is assured no further information or evidence exists in this case unless the deposition brings more to light.

The defense is to be made aware this case requires deliberations, and the prosecution and the defense should meet in person to discuss the case prior to any motions hearing.

Respectfully,

Caroline Johnson

Superior Court,

The state wishes to make it known that any inaction of the state in not placing a count of GF16 - Tampering with Evidence, does not prejudice the claims of the state in placing this charge at a later time. In addition per protocol, the court is being made aware deliberations have begun on a Plea Deal that the state believes is of benefit to all parties and the citizens of the State of San Andreas.

Respectfully,
