  • 3.1) Why are you seeking employment with the San Andreas Judicial Branch? (200 word minimum.):
    • I believe the San Andres Judicial Branch gives me a unique opportunity to help individuals and further the public good. I know that the judicial system is an intellectual challenge, something that I find extremely rewarding as someone who's always been a problem-solver, analyst, and innovative thinker. I don't shy away from conflict, but rather confront it, and I want to promote and communicate the knowledge of our laws to San Andreas citizens who may not understand the rights they are entitled to.
Studying law is the best way to truly comprehend how our society works and effectively runs. It's important for not only government officials to understand San Andreas' penal code amendments, but also the general public; as there's great importance in the understanding of why the rules we have in place are important, and how each individual person is affected by our justice system. The legal profession continues to have a need for good people who can make a difference. I believe as I continue to learn judicial standards in-depth, I'll have not only the tools and logic to communicate this information with others, but also serve those in need of counsel. I am confident that I can be part of the greater-good in our legal system, and uphold the due process of law so that the public can benefit from the justices they deserve.
  • 3.2) Please provide a short biography about yourself that highlights why you should be selected from other candidates. (150 word minimum.):
    • I grew up on the Frances Family Farm in Michigan; I was raised hard-working, focused, and driven, while still humble. I exceeded expectations in both secondary and post-secondary school; achieving a 4.0 GPA in high school, and securing a full-ride scholarship to the University of Chicago, where I achieved a masters degree in political science. After finishing my masters, I knew my next path was law school, but I was unsure where to begin my future. I wanted to get settled before diving into the full-time commitment of law school. I traveled for a short period of time before finally finding myself in Los Santos. The city immediately felt like home; I particularly love the diverse culture, remarkable history, breath-taking scenery, and endless adventure. My passion for truly helping others is what gives me my edge. I want to assist people in getting the justice they deserve, as well as thoroughly understanding our laws and regulations. At the end of the day, knowledge is our greatest ally, and I think each and every person deserves the right to comprehend our judicial system and their rights. Driven by producing above-satisfactory results in all the work that I do, with a fine eye for attention to detail and natural research, communication, and interpersonal skills, I am certain that this is the right path for me.
  • 3.3) What would you say is the most valuable trait that you possess, and how that could benefit the branch? (75 word minimum.):
    • The capacity to adapt to and recover from adverse events, or resilience, is my most valuable trait I have to offer the San Andreas Judicial Branch. Many things in life are not easy; we may feel that we are constantly jumping through small hoops or overcoming different obstacles to achieve what we set out to do. It's sometimes easy to get knocked down and not have the motivation to get back up.
I've prevailed over many different obstacles in my life, ranging from not achieving satisfactory results on tests I had set high standards for, to more troublesome difficulties, such as the loss of my brother. Although each of the obstacles were different and the tact I used in each of these situations varied, I pushed forward, regardless of the circumstances. The development of strong resilience has been an important asset in every success in my life. Setbacks in life happen, and as hard as we may work to prevent them, they also happen in the court room and the legal profession. The ability to cope and react to the challenges I've faced correlates with a significant positive effect on my productivity and motivation. Resilience is critical, and being able to thrive in challenges in the workforce and perform under extreme pressure are values I will continue to build, because of resilience.
  • 3.4) How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating towards the branch in the event you are hired?
    • I can dedicate over 50% of my time to the branch, ranging from at least 15-20 hours a week.
  • 3.5) How did you hear about this position?

    • [ ] Yes
      [✘] No
  • 5.4) Do you have additional Information about yourself that you consider beneficial to the department?:
    • I have additional roleplay experience from different online games and DND campaigns. I'm a registered nurse out of character and have a good grasp and understanding of many real-world legal procedures as I've been exposed to them in my career and other realms of my life. Thank you for the offer! At this time what steps should I be taking to get an interview scheduled?

(I’ve joined the discord and recently been given roles. I’m unsure if I need to reach out to someone to get a time set up, or if someone will be contacting me.)

Best Regards,
Kendall Frances
