Time & Date of Incident(s): 12:30 AM 06/13/2022
Charge(s): Obstruction of Justice
Narrative:

I had let my friends borrow my Scout as they were moving furniture from a house, prepping to sell it. A few hours later, I got a call from one of my friends frantically asking me to come to meet her because the LSPD pulled them over and were trying to search my car without a warrant. I was in Paleto so I jumped in my second vehicle and started driving to Del Perro.

I stayed on the phone with her and as I was nearing the city limits, she told me she was hanging up because the officers were calling me, and that they wanted to know how far away I was. As soon as she hung up, Officer Luca Andollini called me and told me he would be breaking into my vehicle. I asked him if he had a warrant, and he told me no. I told him not to touch my vehicle until I arrived on the scene, as I was only two miles away. I said, “do not break into my car,” and Andollini responded with, “Watch me.”

When I arrived on the scene, three officers were standing around my vehicle, attempting to enter my property. I asked them for the third time to step away from my vehicle until they had a warrant, and they refused. I requested multiple times for a supervisor to be called, and Baron Faust responded with, “I don’t have to.”

I continued to tell them not to touch my car until they had a warrant. Luca Andollini then arrested me for obstruction of justice. I put my hands up and complied, and was escorted to the cruiser. He then reached his hand into the front of my shorts to get my car key. I was extremely uncomfortable and I am still uncomfortable having a man touch me in such a vulnerable area along with the way he used his power to touch me inappropriately after arresting me for obstruction when they did not have a warrant.

When we were at Mission Row, I requested a female officer because I was still very upset with how Luca had touched me. He told me no female officers were available. I told him I did not want to be in a room alone with him because I did not trust that he would not touch me again. He argued with me again until I asked the third officer on the scene, someone named Connor, to come into the room with me so I wouldn’t have to be alone with Luca.

After I was released, I was shocked to find that the three officers left my Scout unattended and unlocked on the side of the road where the traffic stop happened. I spoke with Officer Leo Larson and he questioned me about whether or not these men were even real officers since they behaved so unprofessionally by leaving my vehicle at the scene.

I am extremely shocked at how these officers behaved themselves. Even before I arrived on the scene, they were antagonizing me by telling me they would break into my car and that I could watch them, while I was getting to the stop as fast as I could. Once I arrived, they continued to try and break into my vehicle, without a warrant.

I would like to file for my charge to be dropped, and I am seeking compensation for medical bills for therapy, along with the emotional distress that has come from the trauma I have endured from this whole situation. Furthermore, I would like to look into pressing charges of sexual assault.

I, [Molly Mae Caldwell], hereby affirm that all information provided above is true and correct to the best of my knowledge, and understand that knowingly providing false information could result in additional charges and/or fines. (( I affirm that all information submitted has been obtained via In-Character means. ))

"HERE FOR YOU | SAFE FOR YOU"

  • Ms. Caldwell,

As we currently have a backlog of cases that are in line ahead of yours I wanted to let it be known to you as early as possible that situations regarding officer misconduct need to be handed by the respective departments Internal Affairs. Furthermore due to your statement regarding pursing criminal charges on the officer for the alleged Sexual Assault, I advise you to reach out to Attorney General Hugh R. Allgood. In this case I want it to be known that we will only be reviewing evidence in connection with your arrest for the Obstruction of Justice charge as that is the only application in which the Superior Court is for at this time, anything additional needs to be done through other outlets.

    Respectfully,

    Chief Justice
