On May 23rd, Los Santos Police Officers were conducting an ordinary patrol until a request for backup was made by a unit pursuing a black-in-color Issi Sport evading an officer. This request originated from the Del Perro Pier.

An airship responded to the request and attached itself to the vehicle pursuit. Upon the arrival of the airship, the occupants of the Issi Sport abandoned their vehicle in favor of running on foot. The initiating unit then broadcasted to all other officers that the suspects jumped off the Del Perro Pier and into the water below. They then got into a boat, making an attempt to escape.

In response to the evolving incident, the Los Santos Police Department deployed police boats to pursue and ensured that the airship maintained visual contact to allow for the police boats to catch up to the nautical pursuit. Continuing north-west, the suspects took their boat miles into uncharted waters.

The suspects continued for what was estimated to have been twenty minutes by officers. They then made a turn, changing their direction of travel back towards land, allowing the police boats to catch up and intercept. In turn, the airship could return to one of the Department's helipads to refuel.

Officers continued to pursue the suspects by boat, allowing the airship to re-attach itself to the vehicle pursuit. Having returned to the Del Perro Pier, the suspects abandoned their boat and jumped into the water. Officers sprung into action in an attempt to detain all suspects.

One suspect was apprehended and subsequently charged with Resisting Arrest, Face Concealment (b), and Evading an Officer. The identity of this suspect, at this time, will remain undisclosed. The status of the remaining suspect(s) is currently unclear but they are considered to still be at large.

If you believe to have any information or detail concerning the two suspects still at large, please contact the Los Santos Police Department.
