v.
Mo Mamba
INDICTMENT
- THE PROSECUTION CHARGES THAT:
- On 31/May/2022, I (Attorney General Allgood) was contacted by Los Santos Police Department Detective Yukimura with information about a case the LSPD was working on, and inquired about placing charges on Mo Mamba. The charges are related to an incident where Mr. Mamba is alleged to have defrauded an individual out of $150,000. After keys for gray Torero were provided to Mr. Mamba, Mr. Mamba fled on his own vehicle (BF-400) without providing the $150,000 for the sale of the vehicle.
Detective Yukimura provided me (Attorney General Allgood) with the case file, and after review, I (Attorney General Allgood) concur with the charges to be placed. From CCTV footage of the suspect, the suspect is observed to be a black male with a white beard, and wearing a black top hat. When questioned on 22/May/2022, Mr. Mamba denied any involvement in this situation and even denied owning a Torero. However, in arrest reports collected from December 2021 and May 2022, Mr. Mamba matches the description of the individual in the CCTV footage, and a few days after the fraud, and conveniently a few days after speaking with PD and denying his involvement, Mr. Mamba appears to have undergone plastic surgery to drastically change his appearance.
Grand Theft Auto is defined as, "Taking someone else's vehicle without consent" and Felony Fraud is defined as, "The intentional deception of a victim by means including but not limited to a false display of information, identity, or documents with the intent of personal or financial gain causing greater than $5,000 in damages.". The evidence corroborates that Mr. Mamba took a Torero owned by someone else without their consent -- as he did not provide the requested sum of $150,000. Additionally, Mr. Mamba intentionally deceived the victim by the false display of information causing more than $5,000 in damages.
