JOB INFORMATION
Thank you for showing your interest in applying for the Los Santos Emergency Medical Services. As a member of the LSEMS, you will provide efficient, immediate care to critically ill and injured patients and transport them to a medical facility for further treatment. You will be part of a team where we strive together to be the best and expand our knowledge of medicine, treatment, fire safety, and forensics.
REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application
- Applicants must possess a full driver's license issued by the Los Santos DMV. A trucker's license is required if the applicant wishes to join the Fire & Rescue Division. We typically prefer applicants with no major traffic or driving offenses.
- The LSEMS requires that applicants not have any history of certain mental conditions that could inhibit performance on duty and cause further issues in the department. Exceptions can be made.
- Applicants are required to be physically fit to perform the day-to-day duties of an EMT (lifting patients, scaling difficult terrain, etc.). Applicants may be subjected to a physical examination by a member of the AMU division.
- The Applicant must be clear from any recent criminal charges - some charges may be forgiven if the Applicant undergoes SADOC's Felon Reformation Program. See below for further specifications:
► Show SpoilerThere are multiple felonies and charges that will default the application status as DENIED regardless of references, letters of recommendation, or programs passed**:
- Serious Felonies (SF) except for SF03 & SF07
Drug Felonies (DF)
GF01 - Child Endangerment
GF04 - Sexual Assault
GF13 - Arson
GF14 - False Impersonation
GF16 - Tampering with Evidence
GF17 - Rape
GF20 - Possession of Human Body Tissue
GF21 - Prison Break
GF24 - Perjury
There are multiple felonies and charges that will set the application status as DENIED unless the applicant successfully undergoes SADOC's Felon Reformation Program:- GF19 - Abuse or Desecration of Dead Human Body
SF03 - Involuntary or Vehicular Manslaughter
SF07 - Bank Robbery
WF01 - Assault with a Deadly Weapon
WF02 - Shooting from a Vehicle (Drive-By)
Drug Misdemeanors (DM)
Additionally, Firearm Possession Charges are categorized as such:- WM02 - Possession of a Class 1 Firearm - 2 months*
WF03 - Possession of a Class 2 Firearm - 6 months*
WF04 - Possession of a Class 3 Firearm - 6 months*
WF05 - Possession of a Class 4 Firearm - 6 months*
Felonies that are outside the charges mentioned above have a wait time of 6 months*.
Other Misdemeanors that are outside the charges mentioned above have a wait time of 2 months*
NOTE* The applicant may go through the San Andreas Department of Corrections' Felon Reformation Program before applying and provide a reference for the recruitment personnel to review in order to shorten the wait time. Undergoing the Felon Reformation Program does not guarantee leniency, as applicants' criminal records are considered on a case-by-case basis, and on the other hand, we may be more lenient towards one-time offenders than repeat offenders.
Additionally, employment with a clean track record within more lenient government-funded organizations, agencies, companies, and firms may contribute positively toward each individual case.
NOTE** Only in cases of charges that are 12 months or older, special reviews may take place for one-time offenders for charges that are otherwise entirely eliminatory. These reviews would require substantial feedback from another government-funded employer.
Should you wish to verify or get more information on the subject of criminal records and their interaction(s) with our recruitment procedures, contact ✉︎ Bambi Fields
All charges are cited from the San Andreas Penal Code. - Serious Felonies (SF) except for SF03 & SF07
(( The LSEMS has several Out-of-Character requirements that must be met on top of our In-Character requirements.
- Applicants must be mature and have the ability to roleplay in respects to acting like a believable member of Emergency Services while on duty.
- You should ideally have a working microphone to be used in-game and on TeamSpeak 3, as Eclipse Roleplay is a primarily VOIP server. This is, however, not eliminatory by any means, but it does mandate that your typing speed and grammar can keep up.
- This does not mean that text role-play is not important. Your ability to perform character actions and describe environmental RP (/me & /do) will be checked during the recruitment process, should you pass the application stage.
- You are permitted to use text RP during your employment, but must use VOIP when using (J)TAC
- You must be able to communicate fluently in the English language, which includes grammar and spelling.
- You must have TeamSpeak 3 and Discord installed.
- You must be able to spend at least 2.5 hours weekly on your LSEMS character. This requirement can be temporarily exempted through a Leave of Absence or Reduction of Hours.
- Your Admin Record has been clean for at least 30 days from the filing date.
- This means that you haven't had any punishments, including being unbanned within a thirty-day period, and you are in good standing with the Eclipse community. Depending on the severity of the punishment, we reserve the right to deny your application based on your Admin Record, even after the thirty-day minimum. All cases are reviewed individually.
- The Los Santos Emergency Medical Services faction reserves the right to deny applicants who have previously been removed from another faction for out-of-character reasons, such as but not limited to poor roleplay, poor Out-of-character conduct, and toxicity. Our faction strives for a friendly and healthy environment, and applicants need to prove that they are capable of contributing to one.
- You must not use AI text generators to compose answers in your application, as doing so shows a lack of effort. Detecting the use of these generators is grounds for denying your application.
- The Applicants agree to roleplay a realistic medical care provider character with consistent character development by applying to the Los Santos Emergency Medical Services faction. ))
(( OUT OF CHARACTER CORRUPTION ))
(( Out of Character Corruption allows your LSEMS character to be overly corrupt In Character at some points. Do you want to sell medication under the counter or maybe be able to search dead bodies on a scene and keep what you find? Having approved OOC Corruption can open a new avenue of roleplay opportunities. Generally speaking, we do not approve OOC Corruption permissions that include any Serious Felonies (SF) listed in the San Andreas Penal Code; exceptions to this are considered with a good, firm backstory and a laid-out plan.
Please note that if you conduct any illegal activities on your LSEMS character on or off duty without permission, OOC evidence will be enough to trigger action against you or remove you from the faction immediately, depending on the severity.
Corruption is permitted within the LSEMS, but the policy is strict and requires strong character development and backstory (and often proof of this). You can apply for OOC corruption on your LSEMS character before you submit your application. All you need to do is contact the Chief of EMS, CeeCee Rhodes, on Discord (larucifer in the ECRP Discord). Additionally, applying after joining is also possible with no difference between the two. ))
