- Duties Summary: Being a police officer, my primary duty was to protect people and property within the city of Los Santos. - 3.1) Why are you seeking employment with the San Andreas Judicial Branch? (200 word minimum.):
- Before I emigrated to Los Santos and became an American citizen, I completed my masters' degree in tax law with civil effect from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. As previously stated, during my time in Los Santos I have worked as a chief financial officer for Los Santos Customs, Weazel News Entertainment Network and Downtown Cab Company. While these positions gave me the opportunity to grow and develop myself within one area of my specialization and the legislation (compliance laws and such), especially during my tenure as a Police Officer within the Los Santos Police Department I've noticed my love and dedication for the civil effect part of my degree, namely the criminal law and judicial aspect that the law offers. During my tenure, I also had a supervising role within the Recruitment and Employment Division, Media Relations Division and Advanced Training Division. In the role of the latter, I re-wrote the advanced penal code training for Police Officers. With this, I noticed my love and attention for the details of the letter of the law, the reasoning behind everything and the importance of the principles of criminal law, such as the principle of equality of arms.
As such, if I have the privilege of my application for the Judicial Branch being accepted, I would like to additionally focus on researching the principle of ne bis in idem, preparatory crimes and cumulative crimes and hopefully provide additional insight.

- 3.2) Please provide a short biography about yourself that highlights why you should be selected from other candidates. (150 word minimum.):
- My name is Roderick Marchisio. I was born in Rotterdam, The Netherlands from both a Dutch and Italian parent, hence my Italian surname. I completed my masters' degree in university, obtaining a degree in tax law, with civil effect. After graduation, I moved to Los Santos. After spending some time in the city I applied as a mechanical engineer at Los Santos Customs to get to know the city more, to have a job to pay my bills and to have a place where I could further improve my practical skills outside of university life. Over the course of a year, during which I also worked part-time for Downtown Cab Company as a professional driver, I worked my way up from trainee to chief financial officer.
After working a while in that job, I built up a reputation and was offered the same job at Weazel News. Unfortunately, not long thereafter I had to resign my jobs for other employment opportunities. after which I was selected for the equivalent role at Downtown Cab Company, where I worked on an interim basis. As previously stated, I believe I should be selected for this job because not only do I have a vast amount of experience in various roles and positions but also because I feel I have the qualities needed to be a great police officer for the community of Los Santos. As previously stated, the longest employment I've had was with the Los Santos Police Department, in which my primary duty was to serve and protect. Also, I've owned two profitable businesses for quite a while. I think my journey in Los Santos so far has given me everything I need to succeed within this role of the San Andreas Judicial Board: analytical thinking, patience, people-management but most of all a sense of justice and dedication.

- I have a very strong sense of justice. I am a person who strongly believes that there will always be a time when you have to make a choice between what is easy and what is right. My sense of justice will always bring me to the choice of what is right, even when it is a difficult decision to make. I believe the community of San Andreas deserves the best and I intend to treat it that way. While this may sound like a great strength, at times I feel this character trait is a metaphorical double edged sword.
