1. INFORMATION ABOUT FILING POLICE REPORTS ONLINE
- Welcome to the Los Santos Police Department Community Online Reporting Service. Using this service allows you to submit select police reports at your convenience. If you are currently witnessing a crime in progress or if this is an emergency, please call 9-1-1.
Citizens of the State of San Andreas are encouraged to utilize the Los Santos Police Department Community Online Reporting Service to submit a police report relating to crimes that they have witnessed or have been victims of within the City of Los Santos.
Once submitted, police reports are reviewed and approved or denied by the Los Santos Police Department's Detective Bureau. All reports submitted through the Community Online Reporting Service will be reviewed, on average, once every 24 hours (possibly longer on weekends and holidays) and become official police reports upon approval. The approval process may take up to five business days.
FILING A FALSE POLICE REPORT AND/OR PROVIDING FALSE INFORMATION IS A CRIME
Any person(s) filing a false police report and/or providing false information and answers is liable and may be charged and convicted under San Andreas Penal Code section GM-12 (Giving False Information to a Police Officer). Filing a false police report or providing false information and answers is punishable by imprisonment and by a fine not exceeding $1,000.
REPORTING OCCURANCES OUTSIDE OF THE CITY OF LOS SANTOS
Citizens of the State of San Andreas may file a police report pertaining relating to crimes that have occurred within the City of Los Santos with the Los Santos Police Department. Any crimes that have occurred outside of the City of Los Santos and have occurred within the Los Santos County must instead be reported through a crime report with the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department.
(( Sexual- and gross roleplay, and by extent roleplay such as sexual assault and torture, requires the consent of all players present and involved. As such, the LSPD requires any person submitting a crime report of that nature to put an indicator such as [GROSS RP] in the topic subject when posting. LSPD investigators will not be forced to take on these cases or partake in such roleplay by faction leadership if they do not consent or are uncomfortable with the subject matter, so reports may be denied or referred to a different law enforcement faction. ))
