At around 0030 last Thursday a bank alarm was triggered by workers of one of many Fleeca Bank branches within the State of San Andreas - particularly the one situated on Hawick Avenue adjacent to the housing complex commonly known as The Pink Cage. Units were quick to respond and encircled the entire block, shutting the street off completely while members of the Metropolitan SWAT Team made their way to assess and negotiate. The bank robbers, later confirmed to be a group of four had one hostage, additionally claiming to have made explosive devices - situating them outside populated areas to be detonated should negotiations not go their way.

Units were dispatched to areas the devices were in and were contained, furthermore, they were proved ineffective and out of function after an examination. The standoff lasted close to an hour before negotiations led to the hostage being released, and the suspects being given passage. The four suspects were all armed and used a pink sports car as an escape vehicle - as the suspects exited the bank members of the Metropolitan Division SWAT Team made entry, securing the hostage and successfully clearing the bank as the suspects gave chase.
