OBJECTION
IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF SAN ANDREAS
State of San Andreas v. Terry Walkner
#24-CM-0085
An Objection was filed in the above case on the 22nd of March, 2025.
The State of San Andreas, by and through the undersigned attorney, filed this objection, and requests the following request(s) be denied;
- Request(s) being objected to: Defense subpoena requests for arrest reports of Juan Dzefar and Terry Abdul, and statements from Zero Hunter or others involved in the formers' arrests
- Detailed Reasoning: The subjects of the requested arrest reports have no proven relation to this case. The subpoena requests make references to events that happened more than three months before the incident resulting in this case, with no evidence to tie them together. Additionally, requesting statements from officers involved in these alleged arrests more than a year ago will invariably prejudice the judge against the Prosecution's case due to the potential for the statements' inaccuracy due to the time lapsed since then.

Surrebuttal
IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF SAN ANDREAS
State of San Andreas v. Terry Walkner
#24-CM-0085
A Surrebuttal was filed in the above case on the 23rd of March, 2025
The Defendant, by and through the undersigned attorney, filed this Surrebuttal;
The Prosecution’s rebuttal does not address the core issue - Herrman Wolff was not a firsthand witness to the alleged crime.
The Prosecution attempts to justify the statement’s admission based on Mr. Wolff’s reformation program and mental health clearance, but this does not change the fact that he has no direct knowledge of the events in question.
A statement from an individual with no firsthand observation of the incident is irrelevant to determining the facts of this case.
The Prosecution claims the Defense has not provided evidence of fabrication, yet they also fail to provide evidence that Mr. Wolff’s statement is based on anything other than personal bias and speculation.
The Prosecution’s argument regarding the timing of statements is entirely contradictory:
In their rebuttal defending Herrman Wolff’s year-old statement, they write:
“The timing of the statement should not have any influence on the contents of the statement.”
However, in objecting to the Defense’s subpoena request for arrest reports and officer statements from one year prior, they claim:
“Statements from officers involved in these alleged arrests more than a year ago will invariably prejudice the judge against the Prosecution's case due to the potential for the statements' inaccuracy due to the time lapsed since then.”
The Prosecution cannot argue that time does not impact the credibility of their witness while simultaneously dismissing defense evidence based on time elapsed. If one-year-old statements are unreliable, then Herrman Wolff’s statement is equally unreliable and should be suppressed.
If the Prosecution insists that Wolff’s statement remains relevant despite its age, then they must concede that officer statements from prior related incidents should also be considered.
The requested arrest reports and statements concern individuals tied to prior violent incidents at Weazel News, which establishes the reasonable fear and context behind Mr. Walkner’s actions on May 10, 2024.
The Prosecution dismisses these connections without addressing their importance to the Defense’s self-defense argument.
The requested statements from officers contain objective details that directly support the Defense’s claim that prior incidents made Mr. Walkner fear for his life.
The Prosecution cannot have it both ways - if the timing of Mr. Wolff’s statement does not affect its validity, then the same standard must apply to the officer statements requested in the subpoena.
Herrman Wolff’s statement is irrelevant and prejudicial - it should be suppressed.
The Defense’s subpoena requests are relevant to establishing Mr. Walkner’s reasonable fear for his safety - they should not be denied.
For these reasons, the Defense respectfully requests that the Court grant the Motion to Suppress Exhibit #5 and overrule the Prosecution’s Objection to the Subpoena Requests.

#24-CM-0085
A Motion to Suppress was filed in the above case on the 27th of March, 2025.
The State of San Andreas, by and through the undersigned attorney, filed this Motion to Suppress, and requests to following be suppressed from evidence;
- Exhibit #6: Weazel News blacklist
Requested Evidence to Suppress:
Entire exhibit
- Detailed Reasoning: Lack of foundation; relevance; more prejudicial than probative. There is no providence or proof of origin for this exhibit, which consists solely of some names and dates bundled together on a list, suspiciously called "Weazel News blacklist". As the exhibit is a simple document without any identifying components such as official company letterhead or document description, neither the Prosecution nor the court can trust the evidence's authenticity, inherently prejudicing the judge. Furthermore, the names on this alleged "blacklist" has no proven relevance to this case, as argued by the Prosecution in response to the Defense's subpoena requests.

MOTION FOR DISCOVERY

State of San Andreas v. Terry Walkner
#24-CM-0085
A Motion for Discovery was filed in the above case on the 4th of April, 2025.
The Defendant, by and through the undersigned attorney, filed this Motion for Discovery, and presents the following as evidence;
- Exhibit #7: Witness Statement, LSPD Public Relations Specialist Ally Jean
San Andreas Judicial Branch
Official Witness Statement
"HERE FOR YOU | SAFE FOR YOU"
Case Information
- Case Number: #24-CM-0085
Incident Date: 10/MAY/2024 14:57
Witness Information
- Name: Ally Jean
Phone Number: 216-3675
Occupation: Public Relations Specialist, Los Santos Police Department
Witness Statement
- I was an employee at Weazel News for an amazing 15 months before departing from the organization as Creative Director November 1st 2024 to pursue my career at the LSPD. Weazel News, due to it's popularity and central location, was often the target of crime ranging from staff cars being broken into in our parking lot, to staff harassment, and in extreme cases, assault of staff. The Weazel Blacklist ((at the time I was in the faction, a google document)) functions as a safety measure for staff, to ensure that as we accepted news requests from the people of this great state, our employees could remain safe. I myself have made entries to this blacklist during my time at Weazel for reasons ranging from my own kidnapping(s), to various assaults or harassment from members of the public. Members were always free to dispute this Blacklist via the Weazel News website via the following link https://www.weazelnewsnetwork.com/home/appeals
The blacklist, along with specific entries (with date and time), could easily be verified by any active Weazel employee currently employed at Weazel News.
Witness Affirmation
- I, Ally Jean, affirm that the above statement is true to the best of my knowledge and belief. I affirm that this statement has been made voluntarily, made without promise of reward, and made not under threat, force, or coercion. ((I affirm that all information submitted has been obtained via In-Character means.))
Signed,

Rebuttal
IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF SAN ANDREAS
State of San Andreas v. Terry Walkner
#24-CM-0085
A Rebuttal was filed in the above case on the 5th of April, 2025
The Defendant, by and through the undersigned attorney, filed this Rebuttal;
Firstly, the Prosecution's motion to suppress Exhibit #6 on the basis of "lack of foundation" is now resolved. Exhibit #7 confirms the blacklist was a legitimate internal document, maintained by Weazel News staff as a safety measure. The statement affirms that entries were made by staff, including Ally Jean herself, and that current employees can verify the list's authenticity. Therefore, the foundation has been established.
Secondly, the Prosecution argues that Exhibit #6 lacks relevance. However, the Defense asserts that the blacklist is directly relevant to the case. It demonstrates that Mr. Walkner held a management position within Weazel News with authority over employee safety protocols, and it establishes context regarding individuals he flagged for misconduct. This is especially appropriate when evaluating motive, bias, or retaliation - factors crucial to understanding the circumstances surrounding the allegations.
Lastly, the claim that the blacklist is "more prejudicial than probative" is unfounded. The entries are specific, date-stamped, and documented in a factual, non-exaggerated manner. The document does not sensationalize or speculate; instead, it details internal incidents based on employee experiences. The evidentiary value far outweighs any risk of undue prejudice.
For these reasons, the Defense respectfully requests that Exhibit #6 be admitted into evidence.

COURT DECISION
IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF SAN ANDREAS
State of San Andreas v. Terry Walkner
#24-CM-0085
A decision was reached in the above case on the 6th day of April, 2025.
With regards to the motion of discovery of Herrman Wolff's statement and the relevant motion to suppress it, the court will be denying the defense's request to suppress the statement in full. The prosecution has correctly pointed out that impeaching a witness occurs at trial, so regardless of the witness's character, the statement will be allowed. Mr. Wolff has never been found guilty of the crimes of GF24 - Perjury or GM12 - Giving False Information to a Police Officer, so the Court will not be pre-emptively impeaching the witness. Furthermore, we have a precedent that allows witness statements as long as both sides have ample time to review the statement, as shown previously in #24-AP-0001.
With regard to the defense's request to compel discovery of the case file, the prosecution has agreed to this and they also believe that the case file should be kept under seal. The court will be granting both requests, as it is reasonable to believe that it could contain sensitive enough data to warrant being kept under seal. As such, the court will be reviewing the evidence under seal, and working with both parties on handling this.
With regards to the first subpoena request and its relevant objections, the court will be treating this as another motion to compel discovery, as this is something the prosecution can provide to the docket as Law Enforcement is not a third party to this case. However, we will be only granting the request for the arrest report of Mr. Juan Dzefar for the requested date if it exists. Requesting any witness statements will be denied as overly broad and/or burdensome.
With regards to the second subpoena request and its relevant objections, the court will be making the same ruling as above, and will be granting a motion to compel discovery only for the arrest report of Mr. Terry Abdul on the requested date.
With regards to the motion for discovery and the prosecution's motion to suppress it, the court will be siding with the prosecution and suppressing it in whole. Regardless of whether or not it is relevant, the prosecution is completely correct that it lacks the relevant foundation to confirm if that is truly the blacklist, or what date was it possibly an accurate representation of the blacklist. As such it will be suppressed in its current format, however, the court sees its relevance to the case. Defense is heavily encouraged to obtain and submit the blacklist in an official format to the docket.
Respectfully,

The State of San Andreas, by and through the undersigned attorney, filed this Motion to Compel Discovery, and requests as follows;
- Requested Discovery: Defense exhibit "Full Official Weazel blacklist" source of origin; chain of custody
- Detailed Reasoning: The Prosecution is asking the Defense be ordered to provide the source of origin and chain of custody of the name exhibit. Statements have been made that cause us to believe this list is a private and unofficial copy, with the potential to have been altered. This is further supported by the exhibit itself, which is titled "weazel blacklist backup 5-26-24". The Defense has provided no source of origin for this copy or proof of maintaining a proper chain of custody, despite labelling it as "official".
