MOTION FOR INVOLUNTARY DISMISSAL
IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF SAN ANDREAS
State of San Andreas v. Kevin Reyes
#23-CM-0111
A Motion for Involuntary Dismissal was filed in the above case on the 25th day of October, 2024.
Defendant, Kevin Reyes, by and through the undersigned attorney, filed this Motion for Involuntary Dismissal, and the reasoning for request is as follows;
- Reasoning: Lack of Evidence and Probable Cause
- Detailed Explanation: Following the court's grant of the defense’s motion for suppression (and the appeal denied), the prosecution no longer possesses sufficient evidence or probable cause to support the charges against Kevin Reyes. With key evidence now inadmissible, the remaining record fails to establish a reliable link between Mr. Reyes and the alleged criminal activity. As such, the defense contends that the prosecution cannot meet the standard required to proceed with this case.
