Warden's Special Announcement
Exciting developments are underway, and this time it’s not just within the prison walls. Warden Kourtney LaFleur is thrilled to announce that she and her partner, Alex, are expecting a child!
Born and raised in Vinewood Hills, Warden LaFleur has always embraced life’s unexpected turns. She studied psychology at the University of Los Santos (ULSA) and explored various unconventional career paths (which we won't name here), but ultimately found her calling at SADOC in October 2020. With dedication and strong leadership skills, she climbed the ranks and was promoted to Warden in January 2022.
Now, just over a year into her relationship with Alex, the couple is delighted to share that they are approximately two weeks into this new journey of parenthood. While it’s still early, LaFleur is embracing this challenge with the same determination that helped her achieve the top position at SADOC. “I’ve handled tougher situations, but I have a feeling this one is going to be the most rewarding,” she joked.
For those curious, yes, they are already brainstorming name ideas. Although the Warden’s favorite letter is “K,” no official decisions have been made yet. However, we can confirm that the child will be raised with a love for bubblegum-mint ice cream.
The leadership and staff at SADOC extend their heartfelt congratulations to Warden LaFleur and Alex during this exciting time. More updates will follow as they navigate this journey, one trimester at a time.Warden Kourtney LaFleur, Warden of Bolingbroke Penitentiary wrote:People always say that having a baby is the best thing to happen to you, but I guess they've never had their favorite TV show come back after a decade (but it was cancelled anyway after). I want to thank those for the support they've given me, I look forward to using this an excuse to be lazy for the next few trimesters.
