Warden's Medal of Valor

The Warden of the San Andreas Department of Corrections, has today, issued the Warden's Medal of Valor to Police Lieutenant II Alex Sorvanis and Police Officer III+1 Alaska Sorvanis of the Los Santos Police Department.
As soon as the hostile acts commenced, Lieutenant Alex Sorvanis, without hesitation exited the TARV and proceeded to defend and protect both his accompanying officers, but also un-armed SADOC Officers who were awaiting the arrival of these suspects. Lieutenant Sorvanis was able to fend off and injure five individual suspects who were all shooting at him and the TARV.
Officer Alaska Sorvanis joined Lieutenant Sorvanis, and proceeded to get out of the TARV to provide cover to Lieutenant Sorvanis and help him defend the TARV and the involved Officers from the deadly attacks before getting back into the TARV to provide cover with the bullet-proof vehicle.
At this time Correctional Emergency Response Team (CERT) units responded and proceeded to assist the sole SWAT unit. At this time Lieutenant Sorvanis went down injured behind a small area of cover, Commander Jimmithy Jemima of the San Andreas Department of Corrections spotted the injured Lieutenant Sorvanis; alone and bleeding out in the snow. Commander Jemima risked his life to provide life-saving medical treatment to Lieutenant Sorvanis while being shot at himself before carrying Lieutenant Sorvanis to a safe location so that Commander Jemima could return fire. Commander Jemima then rushed Lieutenant Sorvanis to Paleto Medical Centre to allow the Emergency Medical Technicians of the Los Santos Emergency Medical Service to fully aid Lieutenant Sorvanis so that both Officers could return to Bolingbroke Penitentiary to assist the other units.
Further units from both the Los Santos Police Department and the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department responded to provide further aid, cover and overall support to the scene, in which no suspects escaped, and the majority of attacking suspects were apprehended and were charged for their crimes.
If it was not for the original courage and relentlessness from Lieutenant Sorvanis and Officer Sorvanis then many Officers of the SADOC could've been injured with a whole criminal organisation storming Bolingbroke to break out their gang members while attempting to kill SADOC officers.
Commander Gareth Longford, Commanding Officer, Metropolitan Division wrote:Throughout their collective tenure within the Los Santos Police Department, I have watched both Lieutenant Alex Sorvanis and Officer Alaska Sorvanis dedicate their careers to the Metropolitan Division D platoon (SWAT).
Commander G. Longford
With their wealth of knowledge and tactical experience, it is no surprise to me that these officers were able to overcome this violent ambush against all odds, and show those who wish disgrace the name of the law that they cannot prevail.
It is in moments like these that I feel the highest level of pride as well as gratitude for the officers who serve in my division.
Warden Kourtney LaFleur, Warden of Bolingbroke Penitentiary wrote:I am proud to recognise and award the efforts, dedication and heroic actions of Police Lieutenant II Alex Sorvanis and Police Officer III+1 Alaska Sorvanis of the Los Santos Police Department through my office today.
Warden K. LaFleur
The extraordinary bravery that was shown by Lieutenant Sorvanis and Officer Sorvanis during an incident which occurred on the 2nd of December, 2024 were beyond the regular call of duty. As you will have came to understood, both Officers put their life's on the line to protect un-armed Officers of the SADOC, in addition to the suspects who were inside of an armoured TARV, civilians of the State and responding SADOC, LSPD and LSSD employees.
Without the quick thinking, relentlessness and strong courage shown by Lieutenant Sorvanis and Officer Sorvanis, we could have been facing a difficult reality.
