Chief's Message - February 2025

Los Santos: As the Los Santos Police Department concludes the month of January, Chief Elena Flores extends a message of reflection and addresses the accomplishments, challenges, and future endeavors of the Department.

Chief Elena Flores wrote: January has now been concluded, and we have said our final goodbyes to the season of festivities and properly starting the new year. Where January was the adjustment period for the return to the status quo, February is the true return to the norm of everyday life.
In that same vein, the general approach throughout the month of January has been to maintain the status quo. Our recruitment has continued and we are currently awaiting a Los Santos Police Academy, to provide our training officers with a fresh batch of newly graduated recruit officers. The hiring process for Los Santos Police Officers, unless stated otherwise, is always open, and we are always looking for the next generation of officers to start their careers with the LSPD.
Moreover, the Los Santos Police Department has taken a step towards proactive enforcement of illegal parking, as witnessed by the operation spearheaded by Assistant Chief Bala, which the Media Relations Division coined "Big Tow." Dezzy has continued to show his passion for parking enforcement throughout his extensive career with the Department. The effectiveness of this initiative will determine the viability of future plans for the Traffic Enforcement Division and the potential widening of their scope of duties.
On a final note, I wish to use this opportunity to express once more my gratitude for the unwavering dedication and commitment of not only our officers, but also the deputies of the Sheriff's Department, all government workers, and every citizen who has contributed to making the City of Los Santos a better, safer place.
The Los Santos Police Department is committed to ensuring and protecting the safety and security of citizens and tourists of Los Santos to the highest standards of law enforcement. We are always looking for passionate individuals to join our ranks. If you are inspired to make a difference in your community, consider a career with LSPD. The LSPD is hiring for the early morning and late night shifts and can be applied to through the online recruitment portal.
