Los Santos: On January 26th, an incident occurred involving a Los Santos Police Officer and a suspect, where the officer involved was accused of misconduct and criminal conduct.
Internal investigators of the Los Santos Police Department's Internal Affairs Division initiated an official formal investigation into the allegations that were made. In this incident, the officer in question was found to be in direct violation of the policies and values that are set forth and expected of its officers by the Los Santos Police Department.
In this incident, the officer involved was found to violate Department policy, as well as criminal codes as established in the San Andreas Penal Code through the actions he took on that day.
The officer, identified as Police Officer II Ramon Cerbach, was alleged and later confirmed to have turned off his Department-issued body camera, which violates a policy by the Department that is considered one of the most important in achieving public trust and transparency, and proceeded to threaten an inmate of Bolingbroke Penitentiary, in the presence of Correctional Officers of the Department of Corrections. He has been charged with GM13 - Criminal Threats and GF16 - Tampering with Evidence, and his employment with the Los Santos Police Department has been terminated, effective immediately.
