Los Santos: We are delighted to announce that in conjunction with the Governors' Office, the Firearm Licensing Division has of the 13th of November, amended it's seizure regulations concerning temporary seizures of firearms for investigative purposes. The updated provision reinstates the authority for Peace Officers, upon request, to temporarily seize firearms along with any modifications for closer investigation.
This important change enables officers to verify the legality of license holders' firearms and modifications. The revised regulation now reads: "When in possession of a firearm, and upon the request from a Peace Officer, you must present your firearms license, and if requested, temporarily surrender your firearm along with any modifications."

Firearms Licensing - Change in Seizure Regulations
