- FIREARMS AND NARCOTICS SEIZURE

- On Saturday, the 28th of October, the Sheriff's Investigations Bureau and the Special Enforcement Detail conducted a raid on a property located at Baytree Canyon Rd. The joint operation was a result of a month-long investigation conducted by investigators within the Sheriff's Investigations Bureau. As a result of the raid, firearms, armor, drugs, and drug manufacturing equipment worth approximately 6 million dollars were successfully seized.
We wish to acknowledge the hard work conducted by our investigators in this case. Without their work and expertise, the outcome may not have been as successful as the one we see today. The joint cooperation between the Sheriff's Investigations Bureau and the Special Enforcement Detail ensured the safety of not only the deputies on the scene but also the surrounding area and civilians within.
We work effortlessly to keep our jurisdiction and state safe and this seizure highlights the magnitude of the criminal network that law enforcement is facing up against on an everyday basis. Moving forward, we will continue the work effortlessly to ensure that our neighborhood and streets remain safe.
The seized items include:- 4471 units of drugs
- 7741 rounds of various types of ammunition
- 10 pieces of armor
- 1 Class 3 firearm
- 45 Class 2 firearms
- 18 Class 1 firearms
- 218 weapon modifications
- 18 units of drug manufacturing equipment
- 30 various types of melee weapons
