- Transparency within SD Internal Affairs

- In response to the feedback that we have received from the community, the Los Santos Sheriff's Department is taking steps to enhance transparency and accountability within our Department. We recognize the importance of an independent review of our internal affairs procedures, we would like to announce that we have begun a collaborative effort with the San Andreas State Government.
Through open and constructive dialogue, we have created communication channels with Assistant to the Governor, Andrea Fallon and Chief of Staff Emily Whitehorse. Both of them are highly respected individuals who have been granted access to our internal affairs reports and are able to review our investigative processes.
As a Sheriff's Department committed to upholding a high standard of integrity and professionalism, we firmly believe that this collaborative approach will instill public confidence in our commitment to transparency and fairness. We want to remain true to our mission for a more positive state and to maintain the trust and respect of all the citizens of Los Santos.

The Internal Affairs Division welcomes the oversight of Ms. Emily Whitehorse and Ms. Andrea Fallon, to provide an additional layer of oversight and transparency to our Division, investigations, and processes.
This inclusion will only strengthen the accountability of the Department as a whole, as well as validate the decisions and objectivity of the Internal Affairs process and outcomes.
I welcome their oversight and look forward to this division's continued openness in our approach to public and internal complaints and concerns.
