Good day LSSD

The LSSD as always prided themselves upon being an open organization with equal treatment to everybody. However, well looking through the reinstatements, I caught an email signature of recently reinstated Steven Lee contradicted those values in my eyes.

The email signature in question is
I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. - Timothy 2:12
1. What is LSSD’s opinion on this?

2. If the LSSD accepts this level of hate, what else does the department accepts?

I look forward to hearing from your department

Best wishes
Maverick

    1st Amendment
The House shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, [..]
We respect our employees' personal beliefs as long as they do not interfere with their sworn responsibilities, which include the fair treatment of all individuals, whether they are civilians, suspects, or colleagues.

Our department remains committed to establishing policies and procedures that uphold respect for everyone, regardless of their identity, sexuality, religion, ethnicity, and more. We will hold our employees accountable for adhering to these policies.

Our department is characterized by openness, inclusivity, and empowerment for all based on their abilities. As evidence of our commitment, women have held leadership positions both in the past and currently. For instance, women lead key divisions such as the Special Enforcement Detail, K9 Division, South Patrol Division, Field Training Division, and Sheriff's Information Division. Our department fosters an environment where anyone can thrive, and we consider ourselves one big, harmonious family.
