  • Citizens of San Andreas,

The San Andreas Judicial Branch is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership with the San Andreas Department of Corrections Felon Reformation Program, aimed at empowering individuals with criminal backgrounds to embark on careers in the legal profession. This innovative collaboration offers program graduates the opportunity to join the Judicial Branch as public defenders or prosecutors, while maintaining stringent eligibility criteria to uphold the integrity of the legal system.

This partnership represents a significant stride forward in our ongoing commitment to promoting rehabilitation, reintegration, and equal access to justice. By offering a clear and structured path for individuals who have successfully completed the Felon Reformation Program to enter the legal workforce, we are actively working to provide second chances and contribute to a more just and inclusive society.

Under this initiative, individuals who have satisfactorily completed the Felon Reformation Program are eligible to apply for positions as law students or paralegals within the San Andreas Judicial Branch. However, to ensure the highest standards of professionalism and integrity, all applicants, including program graduates, must be free of any felony convictions for a minimum of ninety days. Certain felonies will continue to disqualify individuals from becoming attorneys within the branch.

The application process for the San Andreas Judicial Branch through this program involves several stages; Candidates must first gain acceptance into the Felon Reformation Program. Upon acceptance, candidates will commence weekly meetings with a Felon Reformation Officer to facilitate their reformation and reintegration process. After completing their second meeting with a Felon Reformation Officer, candidates will be presented with the opportunity to apply for various job positions within the state, including positions with the San Andreas Judicial Branch. If a candidate applies to become a Law Student or Paralegal within the San Andreas Judicial Branch, a Felon Reformation Officer will provide a Letter of Recommendation to the Director of Training & Hiring as part of the application process. If accepted into the branch, candidates will commence their training. Advancement to becoming a Public Defense Attorney, Prosecutor, or Paralegal within the branch is contingent upon passing all five meetings with the Felon Reformation Program, successfully completing all three phases of training required by the branch, and passing the Bar Examination to obtain a Bar License. To maintain their positions within the San Andreas Judicial Branch, employees must maintain a clean criminal record, as frequent background checks will be conducted. Any further criminal charges may result in termination of employment.

"We firmly believe in the transformative power of second chances," stated Colt Daniels, Associate Justice of the San Andreas Judicial Branch. "This partnership not only offers individuals a fresh start but also supports the growth and diversity of our legal community. We are excited to provide opportunities for redemption and success."

The San Andreas Judicial Branch and the San Andreas Department of Corrections Felon Reformation Program are united in their dedication to creating meaningful opportunities for individuals who have taken steps towards rehabilitation and reformation.
