Los Santos Police Department
Los Santos, San Andreas
Los Santos: The Los Santos Police Academy has graduated and welcomed 11 newly sworn employees of Academy Class #242 to the Los Santos Police Department. Of the 11 new Police Cadets of the Los Santos Police Department, there are 11 males and 0 females who were sworn in by Assistant Chief Phillipe Sanchez.
We congratulate all the new Police Cadets on passing the initial recruitment phase of the Los Santos Police Department, followed by the Los Santos Police Academy, is it no easy feat, however, they are not full Police Officers yet. The biggest obstacle currently awaits them - the Field Training Program of the Department. All Police Cadets must undergo a vast and thorough training process with various Senior Officers of the Los Santos Police Department before conducting an evaluation session with a Police Supervisor who will then suggest for the Police Cadet to either pass or fail the program, which will be deliberated on by Field Training Command. Only then, so long as they have passed their training phase as a Police Cadet, will they be considered to become a full Police Officer with the Department.

The Los Santos Police Academy provides what we believe to be a unique blend of training and social functions to serve the Officers of the Los Santos Police Department. Educational methods and materials have changed tremendously over the years in the best interest of the Department and its training process, but the basic purpose it serves remains the same: to produce the best-trained Police Officers possible. It is the atmosphere of our training processes that contributes to the professionalism of the men and women of the Los Santos Police Department.
