2. Traits & Motivations
Amelia fernandez, grew up in a new york, disciplinary military family. I am a proud Puerto Rican African American and have enjoyed travelling to visit and my father also a police man. Meeting a lot of people and visiting a lot of places around the world was nice, but I never felt like I had a place I could call home. Instead of going to the military, I wanted to go to college instead and study criminal justice and use my military upbringing to secure a job in a government facility. I have always admired law & order which is why I decided to pursue a career in the Ceylon Police Department. I intend to be an asset to this team with my knowledge of the law and passion for justice.

I want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections because i love to work as a correctional officer.I aspire to climb the ranks within this environment and one day teach the next generation with my knowledge of the law. i have a passion for law and justice and look to show this through my actions in the Department of Corrections
I handle pressure or stressful situations by prioritizing what is most urgent that needs to be done first in order to ultimately solve the issue at hand. I use this strategy because trying to solve multiple things at once will only delay the process of coming to a solution. I look forward to leading by example and showing others how to handle or stressful situations as well if needed. In terms of stressful situations, as a Police Officer, I have often had to deal with situations involving stress and pressure where I would utilize my skills to de-escalate and remain calm in order to bring a situation to resolution where everyone was as safe and as calm as possible.
I believe I'm very friendly with people so I can easily work with everyone, my professionalism and high level of respect alongside being a fast learner are traits that will let me help this department. I also have had positive experiences with the DOC officers and love working with them.
