Information

Current/Ex-employees of the Los Santos Police Department & Los Santos County Sheriff's Department may request a transfer to the San Andreas Department of Corrections.

• You have been employed in the Los Santos Police Department/Los Santos County Sheriff's Department.
• Your last employment in the Los Santos Police Department/Los Santos Country Sheriff's Department was no longer than 3 months ago. (The 3 months may be lifted depending on the rank and experience you have and how much time has passed between your last employment for SD/PD)
• A thorough inquiry about your performance and current standing will be made to the designated department.
• In the event of your transfer request being successful, you must first be fully discharged by the designated department before you can be employed.
• Qualifications and certifications from the designated department may or may not transfer over, at the discretion of our Correctional Field Training Division Command. You will need to consult them upon successfully transferring.

Consideration

All transfer requests are handled differently, on a case-by-case basis.

• Length of Employment.
• Your position and role within the designated department.
• Your effort in upholding responsibilities in your previous position & role.
• (( Your behavior and performance in the community all around. ))

What to expect?

• You may not be employed in the same position or rank as before. This is entirely dependent on current availability and your previous status in your designated department.
• You may be invited to an interview where a Command Officer or Human Resources Representative will ask further questions regarding your transfer request.
